Students learn how to use a set of information resources related to a specific subject course with appropriate examples or hands-on experience. Typical contents include:

Students learn how to solve a series of information problems related to each stage of a subject course, i.e., a series of information problem solving concepts is incorporated into the subject course design. Librarians are involved with students throughout the entire course, guiding them through various information problem solving processes. Typical contents include:

Students learn to master a set of specific information skills, focusing on one specific information resource or information resources related to a field of interdisciplinary study. For example:

Students learn specific skills depending on their individual needs and upon the individual's request. Typically it takes 10-30 minutes to complete a session. This can occur either at the Reference Desk or by appointment with a subject specialist. |
